Modernist Lamp by Louis Kalff for Phillips 

Designed in the 1950's by Louis Kalff, and manufactured by Phillips.

Classis Modernist model, unusual with the opening in the top of the shade, which throws the light both up and downward.

Finished in gloss black with a white interior to the shade for maximum reflection.
