The fitter is the "lip" part of a glass shade or globe that attaches to the shade-holder of the fixture. Common fitter sizes (diameters) are 28mm (1-1/4") 57mm (2 1/2") 85mm (3-1/4") and 100mm (4"). We measure the fitter on the outside of the lip.

Yes, if you aren't quite happy with one of the finishes please just let us know and we will try and resolve this.
Where are your measurements taken from?
The height is the overall height of the shade or fixture. For shades we measure the height from the top of the fitter through the centre of the shade. For complete fixture the overall height, is taken from the top of the fitting to the base. For shades the diameter, refers to the diameter measured at the widest point of the shade The Fitter, please see above. If you need any other measurement, please call.
I live out with the United Kingdom, why are there no postage rates given?
We are more than happy to ship to you where ever you may be. The peculiarities of postage rates, means that we would ask you to email us with your requirements and we can work out the most efficient method shipping for you.
What happens if I don't like the product when it arrives?
If in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, we would be happy to exchange it for you, or give you a refund for the price of the goods. We would ask you to contact us within 14 days of receiving your goods before we could begin the returns process.
What happens if my order arrives broken?
We pack everything with care, however if your shade arrives broken then we will happily replace it for you. In some cases the shade you purchased may be a one off, in which case we would recommend you an alternative or give you a refund. If your shade has arrived broken, please contact us prior to returning it.
