Product Questions
What is a fitter?
A fitter is the part of a glass shade that connects it to the lamp or light fitting. The two most common types are fitter necks and fitter holes.
A fitter neck sits inside a gallery fitting. Common sizes include 57mm, 80mm and 100mm.
A fitter hole allows the shade to fit directly onto a bulb holder or specialist fitting. Common sizes include 28–30mm, 40–42mm, 50mm, 80mm and 100mm.
How are product measurements shown?
Product descriptions usually include the overall height, maximum diameter and fitter size.
- Overall height: the full height of the shade, including the neck if present.
- Maximum diameter: the widest point of the shade.
- Fitter size: the size of the fitting area that connects the shade to the lamp or light fitting.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
Contact us as soon as possible. We will arrange the next steps and resolve the issue with either a replacement, suitable alternative or refund, depending on the item and availability.
What if I receive the wrong item?
Contact our customer service team and we will arrange collection of the incorrect item and organise a replacement.
What if I cannot find what I am looking for?
Use the website search bar or contact us directly. We may still be able to source, manufacture or recommend a suitable product.
Delivery, Shipping & Returns
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we offer worldwide shipping. For destinations including Australia, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Japan and Korea, shipping costs may vary, so please contact us for a personalised quote.
How long will my order take?
Most goods are usually dispatched within 2–3 working days. Made-to-order and specialist items may take longer. Contact us if you need a more accurate lead time before ordering.
Can I return my order?
Yes, you have 30 days from delivery to return an item for a refund of the original product cost, provided the item is returned in its original condition with packaging and tags where applicable.
How do I arrange a return?
Visit our returns page or contact us by email or telephone. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund for the cost of goods.

Do you offer trade accounts?
Yes, trade accounts are available for interior designers, architects, contractors and other trade professionals.
How do I apply for a trade account?
Contact us directly by email or telephone. To help us process your request quickly, please have your VAT number and website details ready, if applicable.
