Help Us Identify the Correct Replacement
Accurate measurements are extremely important. Please use the relevant guide below and send us clear photographs alongside your measurements.
Glass Shades & Globes
When enquiring about a replacement glass shade or globe, please provide the following measurements.
- Overall Height — measured from the very top to the bottom of the shade.
- Maximum Diameter — measured across the widest point.
- Neck Diameter — the outside diameter of the fitter neck.
- Neck Height — measured from the top of the neck to where the globe or shade begins.
Please include one photograph of the complete shade and another showing how it fits onto the lamp or fitting.
Oil Lamp Chimneys
Oil lamp chimneys are available in many different shapes and sizes, so accurate measurements are essential.
Please provide:
- Overall Height — measured from the very bottom to the very top of the chimney.
- Base Diameter — measured across the outside of the bottom opening.
If possible, send us a photograph of the original chimney and the lamp, burner or gallery it fits into.
Not Sure What You Have?
You don't need to know the technical name of the item. Send us clear photographs, measurements and tell us what the part came from.
Original & Vintage Lighting
We hold a wide selection of original, vintage and replacement lighting glass and components.
Our stock changes regularly and not everything we have available will necessarily be listed online.
If you're trying to restore an older light fitting, send us photographs and measurements and we'll see if we can help.
Can We Make a Replacement?
If we don't stock the item you require, we may be able to source or manufacture something similar through one of our specialist glass manufacturers.
Bespoke glass production normally requires a minimum order quantity and may involve tooling or mould costs. For this reason, producing a single replacement shade is not always commercially viable.
