Our customer contacted us regarding 2 Art Deco Lamps which required some rewiring and TCL, please see below pictures:
The lights had mis-matching fittings and old wiring, and this is what we done:
Disassembly and Inspection:
Both lamps were carefully disassembled to access the electrical components. We inspected all internal wiring, sockets, switches, and bases for damage or wear.
Rewiring:
The old and potentially unsafe wiring was removed from both lamps. New wiring was installed to meet current safety standards along with new plug and inline switch. This ensures your lamps function properly and minimize electrical hazards.
Cleaning:
The internal and external components of the lamps were lightly cleaned to remove dust and debris.
Reassembly and Testing:
Both lamps were carefully reassembled, ensuring all components fit securely (new caps and galleries fitted in Brass). The lamps were then thoroughly tested to confirm proper functionality and safety.
The customer also wanted some new shades to finish off the lamps and we advised our clear Art Deco Star Shade.
